Gaining Muscle is a vital part of most training programs, and it's something your Personal Trainer will tailor totally to you. Carrying more muscle not only helps you look more toned, it ramps up your metabolism day & night to help shift excess weight, and keep it off.

We train for muscle growth using a combination of strength-focussed weight training and intense lighter weight workouts, including kettlebell exercises and bodyweight techniques. Your program can be tailered exactly to your needs and preferences.

PT Chris's Powerbuilding training and programme have stepped up my muscle growth in a serious way - after every session I feel like I've been hit by a train, and the results are very, very noticeable!

I trained with my PT Emily for around 18 months focussing on muscle building, toning and weight loss, and went from 19 stone teddy bear to 12st bodybuilder to 15st strength athlete. I can recommend Emily to anyone serious about changing their body for good.

Personal Training: Combat Training for Fitness & Weight Loss

Combat fitness is a high-energy, fun and seriously effective alternative to normal aerobic exercise for weight loss and fitness. Few exercises challenge you this physically while being so much fun!

We use combat fitness to raise your heartrate, quickly burn calories, raise your metabolism and let out all that rage that's built up inside!

Boxercise and the heavy bag are my favourite parts of my workout with Emily, and the effect on my fitness and weight loss has been incredible. Emily pushes me hard, and honestly, I just love bashing the snot out of her mitts!

Strength Training with our PTs

This is our forte, and we're proud to say we're among the best at it. Strong is the new sexy, and strength training has never been more popular. Daunting and risky without guidance, but hugely rewarding when done right, Personal Strength Training is our speciality.

Most of our clients find Strength Training to be the most useful part of their program, for its wide range of unbeatable benefits including relieving joint pain, body shaping, building muscle and obviously, getting strong. It's very important to tailor strength training exactly to each person, so a lot of careful planning goes into your program.

I train 3 times a week with PT Emily, as I need a specialist trainer as a competetive powerlifter. Since starting 6 months ago I've seen a big increase in my squat, deadlift and bench press, and Emily puts a lot of care and thought into my program. Her nutritional guidance stops me getting fat too, which is a god-send!
